The Expo Group is seeking an Assistant Controller to grow with our company and will work closely with current Assistant Controller to learn all aspects of general ledger, accounts payable, and accounts receivable. Areas of experience should include cost accounting, sales tax, month-end close process, and managing relationships with banks and outside auditors. Strong knowledge of spreadsheet and the accounting software application Acumatica is a plus.
We’re looking for someone with a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance, but would prefer someone with an MBA or Masters Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. This person should have a minimum of 5-8 years accounting experience, and one or more years as a Senior Accountant or higher. CPA is a plus.
Our perfect candidate:

• Participates in the monthly accounting cycle, including month and year-end closings and financial statement review.
• Assists with Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable process
• Reconciles monthly credit card statements
• Prepares all required state sales tax returns
• Supports payroll operations
• Assists with annual audits
• Processes 1099’s
• Establishes and maintains daily accounting activities with banks
• Maintains the integrity of the accounting and financial systems
• Facilitates employee expense reimbursement
• Drives implementation of proper controls and procedures
• Assists with other projects as necessary
