Currently we are looking for a Medical Assistant for long-term career with knowledge of Athena and OBGYN. 1-year OBGYN experience a preferred.
The position is full-time (32-40 hrs a week). Working hours are Monday – Thursday 7:30am – 5pm and Friday from 8am – 1pm.

Responsibilities:
Room and Triage patients
Medication Pre-authorizations
Sending Referrals
Document BP, weight, patient medical, social history in EMR
Navigate through the EMR system to problem solve patient questions
Clean exam rooms and medical equipment
Prepare specimens for pick-up
Preform Injections
Order medical supplies
Fill medications under the order of the provider
Chart prep
Order Labs and Diagnostic Test
Monitor patient messages and reply in a timely manner
"Go to" person to assist NP in any request they may have.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Must be fast paced, multi-task with ease, have a since of urgency, and well organized
Grammar, spelling, and punctuation
Problem solving to provide solutions
Computer savvy is a must
Exceptional customer service and phone etiquette
Education and Experience
High School Diploma
1 year experience as a Medical Assistant, OBGYN preferred
1 year experience with EMR
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $18.00 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 40 per week
