- Perform day to day financial transactions including verifying, classifying, computing, posting, and recording data.
- Support the company in optimizing our financial transactions by performing reconciliations of vendors and customer accounts.
- Communicate any discrepancy to management, identify slow paying customers, and recommend payment plans with them.
- Reconcile the accounts receivable and payable ledger to ensure that all the payments are accounted for and posted accurately and timely. Verify any discrepancy by resolving client's billing issues. Facilitate payments of invoices due by sending bills and reminders.
- Maintain records to ensure aging is up to date, credits and collections are applied, uncollected amounts are accounted for, and miscellaneous differences are cleared off.
- Perform daily cash management duties including recording of bank deposits, posting cash receipts and updating ledgers.
- Maintains and updates customer files, including name, number, address, insurance information etc.
- Process AP invoices by inputting them into the accounting software.
- Creates reports required.
- Performs other duties as assigned to support accounting department.
- Protects organization's values by keeping information confidential.
- B.A. Accounting.
- Solid understanding of basic accounting principles, fair credit practices and collection regulations.
- Ability to calculate, post, and manage accounting figures and financial records.
- Must have experience with computerized accounting software applications, including but not limited to; Excel, QuickBooks, Power BI and SQL.
- High degree of accuracy and attention to details.
- A willingness to work collectively with others to accomplish goals.
