The Dupps Company is Hiring a PROJECT MANAGER Near Butler, KY

Come grow with a family-owned business for over 88 years, and a leader in protein recycling. Sunrise USA — a Dupps Company — is seeking a full-time Project Manager.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Support end-to-end project management and execution – scope, schedule and budget for projects ranging from $25,000 - $1.5MM.
  • Develop strong, trusted, relationships with employee crews and subcontractors along with the customer’s plant, maintenance & operations managers and their staff.
  • Give input for Engineering Design, System control strategy and new equipment design.
  • Offer assistance to the Sales Department.
  • Provide technical assistance during startup phase.
  • Compose cost estimates for Dupps manufactured equipment.
  • Participate in project cost analysis.

Critical Success Skills

  • Baseline success factors – Customer focus, initiative, communication, judgment, business acumen and results orientation
  • Additional success factors – Attention to detail, time management, interpersonal astuteness, managing internal and external relationships, adaptability
  • Mechanical aptitude / skilled trades experience – Ability to develop CAD drawings, use project management tools and in-depth understanding of general construction management processes. General understanding of best practices for millwright, welding, pipefitting, etc. Ability to read construction drawings and blueprints, and have good computer skills.

Desired Industry Experience

  • Combination of education (associate or bachelor’s degree) and/or work experience with 2 years demonstrated success in a similar capacity in the rendering industry is preferred. Will train the right candidate. Relevant heavy industry experience in the paper, oilfield, chemical & industrial industries is a plus.

Work Schedule and Travel

  • This job requires the employee to be in the field at various work sites approximately 50-60% of their time, for up to 5-10 days at a time.

Salary: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
