Responsibilities :

• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure all equipment operated is kept clean and safe.
• Report all safety / mechanical and electrical defects daily.
• Grease equipment operated as instructed.
• Task training personnel on equipment when needed.
• Expected to work a minimum of 50% of the weekend when the plant is operating.
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance in crushing plant when needed.

Requirements :

• High School Diploma (or GED).
• Minimum 3-5 years heavy equipment field repair experience preferred.
• CAT equipment experience desired.
• Knowledge of heavy equipment in quarry applications.
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair all aspects of heavy equipment.
• Ability to perform complete repairs and overhaul functions.
• Must have own hand tools.
• Perform preventative maintenance when needed.
• Basic welding techniques.
• Willingness to work overtime when needed.
