Currently we are looking for a Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at County Line Quarry.

Responsibilities:

• Operate all heavy equipment in a safe and efficient manner
• Ensure all equipment operated is kept clean and safe
• Report all safety/mechanical and electrical defects daily
• Grease equipment operated as instructed
• Task training personnel on equipment when needed
• Expected to work a minimum of 50% of the weekend when the plant is operating
• Assist with cleaning and maintenance in crushing plant when needed

Requirements:

• High School Diploma (or GED)
• Valid/Clean Driver's License, CDL preferred
• Minimum 3-5 years heavy equipment field repair experience preferred
• CAT equipment experience desired
• Knowledge of heavy equipment in quarry applications
• Ability to diagnose, troubleshoot and repair all aspects of heavy equipment
• Ability to perform complete repairs and overhaul functions
• Must have own hand tools
• Perform preventative maintenance when needed
• Basic welding techniques
• Willingness to work overtime when needed
