The Container Store Inc. is Hiring a Customer Analytics Manager Near Coppell, TX

Overview

 The Customer Analytics Manager is responsible for managing and executing analytics that directly support Marketing, CRM and the company’s Organized Insider loyalty program. This position will partner across Enterprise Analytics, Technology and Marketing to deliver on the company’s data strategy, to support strategic initiatives, and to enable data-driven decision making. This position will design, build, and apply analytical tools and data structures, manage customer data activities and extract meaningful insights. In addition, this position will provide oversight and be a key point of contact with Technology during customer-related data infrastructure and application initiatives. The Customer Analytics Manager will directly manage the Customer Analytics Analyst(s) and work directly with 3rd party analytical resources.

Responsibilities

  • Applies advanced statistical analysis and data science concepts to business problems
  • Develops an in-depth, holistic understanding of customers, the products they purchase, the channels they shop, and the offers/promotions to which they engage
  • Partners closely with business and technology leaders supporting Marketing, CRM and the Organized Insider program as the customer data expert to support top priorities and unlock new insights to drive profitable growth
  • Provides strong leadership and clear direction to direct report(s) and other resources supporting Customer Analytics
  • Coaches team to enable their professional development, develop organizational bench strength, and achieve positive business results
  • Compiles data from disparate internal and external sources, transforms data as needed, and manages large datasets
  • Extracts meaningful insights from analytical findings and makes data-driven recommendations based on insights
  • Seeks out next generation data and analytical tools to enhance the business, including AI and ML
  • Understands and reinforces customer data best practices to maintain good data health and hygiene
  • Develops and tracks KPIs to monitor the status of customer health, identifies strengths, areas of opportunity, and recommends improvements
  • Provides performance and operational reporting and analytical support for the Organized Insider loyalty program and other Marketing and CRM activities
  • Delivers proactive, ad hoc executive level reporting and analysis
  • Enables the delivery of automated, scheduled and self-service reporting & analytics

Qualifications

  • College degree required in computer science, data science, statistics, mathematics, econometrics, decision science or another related technical field; post-graduate degree preferred
  • 5 years of customer database management experience in leveraging data analysis and technology to generate revenue, reduce costs, and improve customer experience
  • Strong ability to structure and solve complex analytical problems and take a new perspective on existing solutions
  • Deep understanding and application of common coding languages (Python, SQL, R) and a demonstrated ability to learn new skills or apply skills in new environments
  • Experience managing and coaching a team or individuals inclusive of career guidance, work evaluation, and skill development
  • Positive attitude and strong professional acumen (EQ)
  • Understands data best practices including proper hygiene, matching and merging principles, and customer segmentation principles
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and other business-related computer skills
  • Based in Dallas/Ft. Worth area, preferred
  • Must be at least 18 years of age
