Title: Treasury Analyst

Location: Phoenix, AZ (onsite)

Position Overview:

In this role you will add value by analyzing financial data, preparing cash flow forecasts and reports that will directly contribute to strategic financial decision-making and risk management objectives. You will directly contribute to optimizing the company’s capital structure and safeguarding its assets. You are diligent, with an eye for detail and capability to work independently. You are self-motivated, with an inquisitive and positive mindset, eager to contribute, learn and grow in your Treasury career.

Reports to: Director, Treasury

Key Responsibilities: 

Cash Management

• Monitor daily cash balances and forecast short-term cash needs
• Facilitate cash movements across various accounts and entities
• Proactively collaborate with group departments and subsidiaries to ensure most efficient use of cash

Risk management and Reporting

• Prepare Mid-Term and Long-term liquidity forecasts to support strategic decision-making
• Analyze FX exposure and assist Treasurer in execution of risk management strategies
• Prepare and distribute periodic reports on cash positions, treasury activities, as well as ad-hoc financial reports allowing informed decision making

Treasury Operations and Projects

• Execute treasury transactions (debt, investments, and foreign exchange) and ensure timely settlements
• Maintain accurate records of treasury transactions in Treasury management system (guarantees, FX deals, Credit Facilities, Intercompany loans, etc.).
• Calculate interest on Intercompany loans and cash pooling
• Manage corporate purchasing credit cards
• Coordinate banking activities, including opening/closing accounts, KYC, bank signatories updates
• Participate in special projects and initiatives, such as system implementations, process enhancements, and treasury-related initiatives

Profile: 

The successful candidate will have the experience and confidence necessary to work effectively with a global team of Finance professionals, as well as to build constructive relationships across a multi-national organization and with the company’s key partners and internal stakeholders.

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics or Relevant Professional certification (CTP, ACT)
• 2-3 years of experience in treasury, finance, or related roles; ideally a previous role in Treasury position.
• Experience with Financial analysis / Cash flow projections
• Understanding of financial markets, instruments, and risk management principles
• Understanding of financial statements and accounting principles
• Understanding of foreign exchange transactions
• Self-starter who can work effectively both on an independent basis and as part of a team, with the ability to communicate clearly and the desire to take responsibility
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to professionalism, being accountable for the quality and timeliness of your work
• Astute problem-solver; solve or preempt problems by employing appropriate measures and research
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel; experience with treasury management systems is a plus
