The Consortium of Jewish Day Schools is Hiring a Full and Part Time Elementary General Studies Teachers 2024-2025 School Year Near Stamford, CT

We are currently seeking a full and part time elementary general studies teachers for the 2024-25 academic year.

Experience and Preferred Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in elementary education or a related field; advanced degree(s) preferable, not required

  • Teaching certification required

  • Experience working with elementary aged children

  • Patience, flexibility, and a sense of humor

  • A solid understanding of child development, varied learning styles, and effective strategies for dealing with such differences

  • Well-developed, effective classroom management skills

  • Strong organization skills

  • Excellent communication skills - verbal and written

  • Works well in a collaborative model with other administrators, teachers, and parents

  • Experience with integrating technology into the classroom

  • Ability to engage and inspire students, parents, and families
