Description

Position: Administrative Director

Program: Supportive Housing for Families

Location: Middletown (Roscommon Office)

Salary: $80,000/year

Schedule: FT/40 hours/1st shift/Monday-Friday

Program Summary:

The Supportive Housing for Families program is a child welfare program providing intensive case management, vocational supports, and temporary housing subsidies to families that are homeless or at risk of homelessness in order to support the achievement of family reunification and/or prevent the removal of children.

Position Summary:

The Administrative Director supports the overall administrative functions and operations for the Family Support Services Division at The Connection, Inc. The Administrative Director is responsible for constructing budget projections and revision reports, overseeing program expenses and spending, data aggregation and reporting, coordinating vendor contracts, and supporting program administrative operations. This position also supervises an Administrative Assistant and Specialist.

Working within our Family & Child Services, the Administrative Director works with the Supportive Housing for Families staff to provide services to stabilize and reunite families experiencing complex issues such as substance use, behavioral health matters, and homelessness.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor’s Degree and 2 years of related experience or
  • Master's Degree and 1 year of related experience
  • Valid Connecticut Driver’s License
  • Regular and predictable attendance is required
  • The Connection Inc. complies with Executive Order 13G. Any employee hired on or after September 27, 2021 must either be vaccinated against COVID-19 or apply for a medical or religious exemption and be approved.

Orientation:

If selected for employment with The Connection, newly hired employees will be required to attend a two (2) day mandatory New Hire Orientation at our Roscommon office located in Middletown.
