Position Title: Intake/Office Assistant

Pre-Employment Requirements:
Drug test
Criminal Background check – over one year since prior conviction
TB skin test: Must have a test or provide proof of one within the past year.
Must have a valid driver’s license or reliable transportation.
High school diploma with equivalent experience in a related field.
Position Summary: Responsible for managing the front office environment of our treatment facility
Skill Sets: Demonstrate good oral and written communications. Maintain a supportive and encouraging working relationship with supervisor, leaders and residents. Must have basic computer skills, communication skills and demonstrate a non-judgmental and non-bias disposition regarding clients.
Physical and Environmental Demands: Visual acuity and manual dexterity needed for required paperwork. Frequent talking and hearing when communicating with leaders, families, and other service providers. Work is light with walking, standing, and occasional stooping.
Job Responsibilities:
Able to provide quality customer service to personnel, persons served, families, and stakeholders.
Help maintain the health, safety and welfare of personnel, person served and stakeholders.
Ensure and maintain resident confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulation
Answer phones and take messages
Complete Safe Off the Street screenings, check insurance eligibility and the sex offender registry.
Complete intake forms for new clients.
Ensure the upkeep of property room
Ensuring new clients sign Admission forms electronically in the EMR.
Assist in the quality assurance of the agency.
Assist in maintaining compliance with the state licensure requirements.
