Behavioral Health Specialist Kaufman, TXFull-timeSummaryOur client is currently seeking an experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to provide outpatient behavioral health consultation within health center setting to adults, children, and adolescents in Kaufman, TX. As a provider in our client’s practice, the Behavioral Health Professional will collaborate with other highly skilled medical professionals in a variety of concentrations to provide top quality care options to an insured, Medicaid, and uninsured population. This collaboration will include an integrated health care and behavioral health program where you will serve as a member of the care team.QualificationsAbility to engage in population-based education, prevention, and early intervention with the patients of our client, as well as the community at large regarding behavioral health.Ability to work through brief patient contacts as well as to make quick and accurate clinical assessment of mental and behavioral conditions.Comfortable providing a range of services including screening for common conditions, assessments, and interventions related to chronic disease management programs.Work collaboratively as a team with PCP in the recognition, treatment, and management of chronic emotional and/or health problems.Excellent working knowledge of behavioral medicine and evidence-based treatments for medical and mental health conditions.Should be comfortable with the pace of primary care, working with an interdisciplinary team, and have strong communication skills.Good knowledge of psychopharmacology.Ability to design and implement clinical pathways and protocols for treatment of selected chronic conditions.Spanish as a first or second language helpful.RequirementsMaster’s Degree in Social Work from an accredited university/collegeLicensed in the State of Texas as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC)At least one year of experience, 3 years or more preferred.Since 1994, Collective has been providing Recruiting and IT Services to the Health Care Industry.
