Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Barista to join our team. As a Barista, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and preparing delicious beverages in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks
- Take customer orders and provide recommendations based on their preferences
- Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system to process transactions accurately
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee bar area
- Follow health and safety guidelines when handling food and beverages
- Assist with food preparation and ensure products are stocked and displayed attractively
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise
- Uphold company standards for quality and consistency in beverage preparation
Requirements:
- Previous experience in a similar role with references
- Strong math skills, including the ability to accurately handle cash transactions
- Knowledge of basic retail math concepts for calculating discounts, sales tax, etc.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail
- Knowledge of food handling procedures and safety regulations is a plus
- Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays
