The Club at SpurWing is seeking an Accounting Clerk to join our team.

Shift: 8:00am-4:30pm

Pay rate: $18.00 - $21.00 an/hour, DOE

Job Description:

The accounting clerk supports the accounting department by performing daily, monthly and quarterly tasks that pertain to the accounting functions of the company. Examples include performing clerical tasks including processing and recording transactions, preparing reports, fielding communications with members and vendors, personnel files, fact checking, filing, and other duties, as needed.

Duties/ Responsibilities:

· This role will be responsible for inputting data for multiple departments throughout The Club

· Research and analyzing accounting data and reports

· Document financial transactions and enter in account information

· Answer telephones

· Receive/route incoming invoices to Managers for approvals, coding

· Gather invoices form Managers

· File records

· Reconcile vender statements/research items as needed

· Purchases and maintains office/janitorial supplies

· Audits, reconciles and updates daily POS transactions into Jonas system

· Generate and distribute sales report to Managers

· Prepares new hire files, audits for accuracy and reporting

· Onboards new hires into Jonas system timely and accurately

· Submits new hire reports to Idaho State Dept of Labor

· Posts charges to accounts

· Receives payments on accounts

· Responds to member billing inquires

· Prepares and sends delinquent notices

· Maintain/update member data in Jonas Club Management System

· Take minutes at weekly Management meeting/type and distribute as needed

· Other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

· To qualify you MUST have experience working as an Accounting Clerk, Financial Clerk or Staff Accountant.

· Account Payable/ Receivable experience

· General Ledger/ entry-level accounting experience

· Account reconciliation experience

· Data entry

· Month-end closing experience

· Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite applications
