Assistant Manager Skills and Responsibilities:

• Excellent verbal communication, and the ability to convey important information clearly and effectively.
• Strong leadership and initiative
• Excellent delegator and mediator
• People person, able to provide excellent customer service.
• Quick decision-making and problem-solving abilities
• Excellent time management
• Responsible, goal oriented and organized.
• Strong attention to detail and able to multitask.
• Confident, proactive and willing to take on workplace challenges.
• Great listening skills and able to take direction from individuals in higher-level positions.
• Contribute to and support General Manager’s Plants for team member development.
• Reconcile new order shipments and organize inventory utilizing FIFO method.
• Provide input to leadership on improving store performance and operational processes.

Assistant Manager Qualifications:

• A high school diploma or GED is essential.
• A bachelor’s degree or post-secondary education is strongly preferred.
• 2-3 years of experience working in a retail store.
• Strong communication interpersonal skills.
• Bilingual a plus.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
