JOB DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
Performs accounting and auditing work to support the HCV Programs and ensure transactions are properly recorded in CHA's general ledgers.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
QUALIFICATIONS
This position requires a Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or a related discipline and three (3) years of accounting experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. This position requires a working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles and strong Microsoft Excel skill.
Housing Choice Voucher Program experience or Yardi knowledge is considered a plus. This position requires effective verbal and written communication skills. Must be able to multi-task, prioritize assignments and work within established deadlines. The successful candidate will possess a strong work ethic and sense of team, flexibility and excellent mathematical and analytical skills.
Salary: $60,000
Grade: S6
