Dietary Supervisor

We are seeking candidates for position of Dietary Supervisor.

** Full-Time Shift of 6AM to 2PM **

Dietary Supervisor Qualifications:

• Prior experience in food service required.
• Experience in Long-Term Care, preferred.
• Knowledge of therapeutic diets.
• ServSafe certified.
• Effective time management skills and self-motivation.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be reliable and flexible in work duties.

Dietary Supervisor Job Summary:

The Supervisor will work with the Food Service Director to prepare both gourmet and family style meals by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate staff.

• Communicate in a positive, caring, and helpful manner with residents, family members, and other staff.
• Work effectively within a team, receiving and offering direction and feedback.
• Manage a staff of 15-18 dietary aides.
• Check for dietary changes, dismissals and transfers prior to tray-line service.
• Manage resident tray-line production to assure accuracy of specifications.
• Understand and communicate knowledge of safety, sanitation and food handling.
• Ensure that infection control practices are always maintained.
• Work other jobs within the Dietary Department as necessary.
