Job Details
At The Butcher’s Daughter, we treat fruits and vegetables as a butcher would meat : We chop, fillet and carve fresh produce into healthy vegetarian dishes and press them into healthy juices.
We serve breakfast, lunch, dinner and weekend brunch in a light-filled space and crank great coffee all day. We take pride in our daily-changing menu, which is 100% vegetarian and non-dairy.
We don’t take ourselves too seriously, provide a great guest experience and always have fun! The host is responsible for the initial interaction with the gust as the arrive.
It is the job of the host to properly greet and receive the guests, make sure they are comfortable, informed, and directed to the most fitting seat.
Required Experience :
- Experience with understanding Kitchen flow, ability to memorize ingredients and dish components, confidence speaking with tables.
Job Duties Include, but are not limited to :
- Greeting Guests with a friendly and approachable manner
- Informing guest on which food is at the table
- Knowing menu, allergents, ingredients, etc.
- Being on your feet and moving for a full8 hours
- Being friendly and professional at tables
- Able to carry several plates
- Understand working in a fast paced envioronment
The right candidate is : Someone who loves creating a welcoming atmosphere and being part of a busy and thriving team. This position requires an understanding of kitchen flow, service flow, and menu details.
You must be proficcient in understanding the menu, and how to answer questions about our service and offerings. You must understand the steps of service, table etiquette, and be professional and pleasant.
This position requires you to be on your feet, carrying hot food, and going up and down stairs.
