As a member of the Cog Railway team, this role will work in the iconic gift shop where you will be able to provide top notch hospitality and welcome guests into a gift shop representing the sheer beauty, excitement, and scenic grandeur of Pikes Peak & the Cog Railway. Assist customers in a courteous and knowledgeable manner, answering customers’ questions regarding location, price, and use of merchandise.
Greet customers on sales floor.
Operate cash register and obtain payment or credit authorization.
Wrap or bag merchandise for customers as needed.
Process returns and exchanges.
Prepare end-of-shift deposit of payments.
Stock and restock product as necessary; maintain product displays.
Take inventory of stock and requisition merchandise from stockroom.
Willingness to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Uphold and abide by all Broadmoor policies, procedures, and safety guidelines
Other duties as assigned

What we are looking for:
Public contact experience with a willingness to courteously interact with a broad cross-section of customers in a high-volume seasonal retail operation.
Ability to properly handle and secure cash and credit cards; basic math skills and ability to make change.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with minimal supervision while maintaining guidelines set by supervisor.
Enthusiastic, friendly, and energetic team member who works well with others
Strong interpersonal communication skills
