Title: Compliance Manager

Location: New York City

Reports to: SVP of Quality Improvement, Compliance & Training

Overview: The Bridge, an innovative and well-respected mental health agency serving adults with serious mental illness, substance use disorders, and co-morbid medical conditions, is seeking an individual to manage continuous quality improvement, monitoring activities within the Quality Improvement, Compliance & Training department.

We are seeking a responsive, positive, service-oriented manager who thrives in a fast-paced, busy environment and is organized to manage often competing deadlines. A person with excellent organizational, analytical, problem-solving and communication skills is most likely to succeed. This position requires accuracy, orientation to detail and maintaining a high level of confidentiality. The ideal candidate enjoys managing and coordinating quality assurance activities.

Job Description

  • : Special projects regarding data gathering, compiling, and reporting; Client Satisfaction Surveys: assist in creating/editing surveys, printing/sorting for distribution, gather surveys from the programs, scan and input results into share drive
  • : Scan and e-file agreements; maintain the linkage / BAA / MOU agreement tracking reports
  • : Scan requests, print and prepare records for outside providers; prepare itemized list of documents provided; update tracking report; follow-up with sender on inaccurate subpoena requests
  • : Assist in creating agency compliance documents; secure Board Members annual packets and e-file; attend and record minutes for PQIC and Compliance Committee meetings; prepare external audit report on a quarterly basis; e-file/ e-copy of audit
  • : Creating training schedules; managing training set up / sessions in online training system; maintaining training registration lists for interns; manually updating training tracking reports; saving training certificates in share drive; upon request running training tracking reports in online system and distributing; preparing training packets; training staff in using online learning system and assisting if issues arise; creating and updating training materials for online learning system
  • : Sending meeting reminders; attend IRC meeting and recording minutes; create and track attendance sheet electronically; complete final review/ formatting of all reports; distribute IRC List and summaries electronically; prepare IRC package for Board Members; follow up with programs on Incident Forms; provide Compliance Administrator requested minutes and follow-up incidents; maintain share drive updated with IRC documents; upon request create program specific minute reports for audit purposes; file Justice Center investigation letters; provide back-up coverage for Weston IRC
  • : Monitoring Compliance e-fax account; Retrieving and distributing mail; handling inquiries from outside providers/organizations; Compiling, transcribing, distributing and filing minutes electronically; Maintaining e-filing system and tracking reports; track client concerns/grievances; retrieving documents/reports; managing petty cash for department including completing reconciliation forms; Creating check request forms and following up to confirm payment
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

· Bachelors Degree

· Good analytical and innovative problem-solving abilities, written and oral communication skills, and effective interpersonal skills

· Proficiency with statistical software, electronic health records, Microsoft Office

· Knowledge of AWARDS is helpful
