POSITION TITLE:  University Aide - Mower
COMPENSATION RANGE: 17.00 - 17.00 USD per hour
EMPLOYMENT CLASSIFICATION: Temporary

Department Job Title: UniversityAide Campus Mower Operator
Duration: 6 months
Openings: 1
 Compensation: $17.00/Hr 40hours per week
Hoursof Operation:
Summer hours-Monday-Friday, 6:00am to 2:30pm (May – August)
Fall hours: Monday -Friday, 7:00am to 3:30pm (August 31-December)

Job Duties:
Responsible for theoperation and routine maintenance of Toro Groundsmaster 4000 11’ mowerthroughout the campus grounds. Thisposition supports full-time staff by providing large area mowing on a consistentschedule.
Operator will performsmowing around trees, buildings and fixtures consistent with a college campusenvironment. Daily communication with full time staff will require welldeveloped communication skills and attention to detail. Operator will be expected to pick up trash duringmowing operations on an as needed basis. Required to mow according to defined schedule and route.

Minimum Qualifications:
Required to attend safetyand equipment Training.
Road transport of mowingequipment will be required and necessitate a valid driver's license.
CredentialsDesired:
Individualswho have demonstrated experience in the operation of large mowers or otherrelevant equipment.
Experience mowing large areasin a public setting is helpful.
