Robbins Recruiting Solutions has partnered with a Miami-based luxury design company that is growing quickly, and known for its quality products and impeccable customer service. We are seeking an experienced, high-performing Sales and Operations Director for the Company's expanding Home Appliance Division. The Sales and Operations Director will plan and oversee the daily operations of a dynamic team of professionals, facilitating communication and synergy within the company. The individual in this role will work with cross-functional teams to solve complex business issues involving order implementation, operational compliance, sales and inventory forecasting. Job Duties
Recruit, select, train, assign, schedule, coach, and mentor employees.
Communicate job expectations; plan, monitor, appraise, and review job contributions.
Contribute operations information and recommendations to strategic plans and reviews; prepare and complete action plans; implement production, productivity, quality, and customer-service standards; resolve problems; complete audits; identify trends.
Forecast requirements; prepare an annual budget; schedule expenditures; analyze variances; initiating corrective actions and create sales plan.
Develop operations systems by determining product handling and storage requirements; develop, implement, enforce, and evaluate policies and procedures; develop processes for receiving product, equipment utilization, inventory management, and shipping.
Responsible for all department managers and supervisors, with review/approval responsibility for all sales operations employees.
Run a safe, injury/accident free workplace.
Establish contracts and pricing; ensuring proper maintenance and serve as primary liaison to utilities and local government agencies, such as fire, police, health, and safety agencies.
Manage relationships with key operations vendors and clients.
Track vendor pricing, rebates, and service levels
Work closely with Holding CEO and management team to set and/or implement policies, procedures, and systems and to follow through with implementation.
Travel to vendors, customers, and events as needed.
Qualifications
Must have 8-10 years of relevant leadership experience
Strong knowledge of home appliances industry mandatory
Knowledge of organizational effectiveness and operations management
Proven track record of leading teams of 10 employees
Proficient in Microsoft Office programs
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Ability to travel 20%-25%
Preferably bilingual (English/Spanish)
$100,000 - $120,000 a year Compensation includes a base salary and commission structure
