The Beloit Sky Carp is Hiring a Sales Executive Near Beloit, WI

The Beloit Sky Carp team is looking for a fun, energetic salesperson who is results-driven and really good at sales! You’ll work on a team and develop relationships with people in the community and also have to be a motivated, self-starter. The #1 focus for this role is to sell and drive revenue! You’ll be selling full season ticket packages, premier group spaces and group outings as well as servicing season ticket packages for the Beloit Sky Carp and ABC Supply Stadium in downtown Beloit.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Generate new revenue through campaign execution, cold calling, networking, and referrals
  • Maximize existing revenue through relationship building, renewals and upsell opportunities
  • Identify and solicit new local and regional partners for season ticket packages and group hospitality spaces
  • Maintain consistent dialogue with new and existing sales leads (40 to 60 outbound calls per day) while balancing other necessary touchpoints to drive success
  • Engage in effective needs analysis to maximize packaging opportunities across entities
  • Conduct out of office and ballpark appointments with prospects and customers
  • Develop customized group programs using inventory controlled by the organization to generate net revenue and meet the needs of clients
  • Develop and implement group incentives
  • Ensure all groups are serviced
  • Other related duties as required
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High energy, not afraid to cold call
  • Resilient, can handle being told no
  • 1-3 years of sales experience
  • Excellent, proven cold calling skills
  • High level of integrity
  • Strong negotiating skills
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and prioritize goals
  • Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
  • Technically proficient with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Access)
  • Photoshop is a plus and will make your job easier
  • Strong analytical skills
  • Strong teamwork skills as well as the ability to work independently and self-motivate
  • Strong time management and organizational skills
  • Strong presentation skills
  • Being able to think outside the box
  • Ability to attend company events
  • Ability to work in fast paced environment
  • Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends and holidays.
