Beanstalk Academy is a leading, full-service childcare, Head Start, 3K, UPK , Early Intervention and early childhood education provider. We support and accommodate our families' needs by providing a safe and nurturing childcare experience. We are actively hiring Lead Preschool Teachers for Head Start, 3K and UPK classrooms. Lead Preschool Teacher positions available in General Day Care, Head Start, 3K and UPK Classrooms! Benefits include: * Health Insurance * Tuition discount for family members at any Beanstalk location * Competitive salary based on education and experience Level The Lead Teacher is expected to engage in ongoing learning to strengthen his/her understanding of child development and the Lead Preschool Teacher is responsible for promoting the vision for quality early childhood services that anchors the organization. Essential Responsibilities: * Structure a learning environment that promotes child health and safety * Plan and lead classroom instruction that is developmentally appropriate and meets the needs of children * Actively engage with families to ensure parents/caregivers are knowledgeable about the child's program * Implement a developmentally appropriate daily schedule, including the incorporation of transitions and age-appropriate opportunities * Create a safe, warm, and nurturing environment for students that is conducive to learning * Support implementation of behavior plans and/or IFSP/IEP goals, as appropriate Essential Qualifications (Must have at least one ) * NYS Teaching Certification B-2 or Equivalent * BA in ECE (Early Childhood Education) and currently pursuing MA/Teacher certification - Study Plan Eligible - Company Description Beanstalk Child Care Academy is a growing, full-service child care provider for children 0-5, offering a variety of services such as Early Intervention, ABA therapy, Head Start, 3K, Home and Community Based services (HCBS), as well as after school programs.
