As a Leasing Specialist, you will be responsible for leasing apartments, providing exceptional customer service to prospective and current residents, and supporting the overall leasing and marketing efforts of the community. • Leasing Apartments: Effectively market and lease apartments to prospective residents by conducting property tours, responding to inquiries, and following up with leads in a timely manner.
• Customer Service: Provide outstanding customer service to all residents and visitors. Address resident inquiries, concerns, and maintenance requests promptly and professionally.
• Lease Administration: Prepare lease agreements, conduct credit and background checks, and ensure all leasing paperwork is completed accurately and in compliance with company policies and regulations.
• Marketing Support: Assist with the development and implementation of marketing strategies to attract prospective residents. Contribute ideas for social media campaigns, events, and other promotional activities.
• Prospect Outreach: Proactively reach out to prospects through phone calls, email campaigns, and networking events to generate leads and schedule property tours.
• Lease Renewals: Assist with lease renewals and resident retention efforts by building strong relationships with current residents and providing personalized service.
• Administrative Tasks: Perform various administrative duties such as maintaining leasing files, updating resident databases, and processing rental payments.

Qualifications

• Previous leasing or sales experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong customer service orientation and the ability to build rapport with diverse individuals.
• Demonstrated ability to close the deal.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and property management software (Yardi, RealPage, Knock, etc.).
• Social media savvy skills.
• High school diploma or equivalent; college degree preferred.
