What is this job all about?
The Shred Assistant is responsible for the collection, destruction, and removal of Arc and other potential businesses HIPAA and other related sensitive documents. The Shred Assistant is also responsible for the care and maintenance of the shred machine. Duties to be assigned by Employment Specialist based on the daily needs of the business. This is an hourly, part-time position.
That’s nice, but what will I actually be doing?
- Collects sensitive documents to be shred from common areas as well as individual offices at The Arc of the Ozarks locations and other businesses as assigned.
- Shreds sensitive documents. When one bag is full, a new bag will be utilized and the full bag tied.
- Prepares bags of shredded documents to be transported to designated location(s).
- Assist with disposal of shredded paper to designated location(s).
- Informs supervisors when needing to replenish supplies.
- Maintains professional conduct with coworkers, clients, and other employees.
- Completes all assigned job tasks before clocking out.
