The Arc of Litchfield County, Inc. (LARC), is seeking professional, kind, caring, creative, and energetic Direct Support Professionals (DSP) to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full and happy lives. Third shift staff monitor the night activities of the people we support, clean the residence and ensure the safety of the residents.
You may provide personal care that includes personal hygiene, food preparation, and transportation. Must be at least 21-years old with a valid driver’s license with clean driving record. Holding certificates in CPR, PMT, First Aid and being certified to pass medications is preferred, however, LARC will also provide training. Must possess a high school diploma or GED. Must submit to a background screening and physical. Apply today!
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Outlook, and be comfortable using tablets and smartphones along with other general office equipment. Ability to work with and understand databases a must and the ability to learn technical skills.
