We are actively recruiting for Direct Support Professionals! Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to assist people with intellectual and developmental disabilities live full and happy lives. Third shift staff monitor the night activities of the people we support, clean the residence and ensure the safety of the residents. You can study and do homework in between work activity!
The starting pay is $18.29 per hour. We offer excellent benefits, including very inexpensive employee health, dental, vision and life insurance as well as a 401K. Our DSPs get 3 weeks paid leave in their first year!
You may also be needed to provide personal care that includes helping people with their personal hygiene, food preparation, and transportation needs. You must be at least 21-years old with a valid driver's license with clean driving record. Holding certificates in CPR, PMT, First Aid and being certified to pass medications is highly desired, but not required as we will provide on the job training. QUALIFICIATIONS & TRAININGS:
COMPUTER AND SOFTWARE REQUIREMENTS:
Computer literate and proficient in Microsoft Office Word and Excel, Outlook, and be comfortable using tablets and smartphones along with other general office equipment. Ability to work with and understand databases a must and the ability to learn technical skills.
