The Arc Idaho is Hiring a Facilities Maintenance Manager Near Boise, ID

Position Summary:

The Arc, a local nonprofit agency, is looking for a full time Facilities Maintenance Manager. Start date is July 1st, 2024. Must understand basic maintenance requirements, ability to safely use and operate all equipment related to maintenance activities; organizational skills to include prioritizing and handling multiple tasks; ability to treat individuals with disabilities with dignity and respect.

Must be able to pass Health & Welfare Criminal Background Check. Must have a valid ID driver's license and clean driver record.

This list of duties and responsibilities is illustrative only of the tasks performed by this position and is not all-inclusive.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Strong mechanical knowledge and experience in facilities maintenance.
  • Completes routine maintenance including, painting, electrical and upkeep at our Albion Street site and residential properties.
  • Follow guidance of COO.
  • Completes grounds keeping for Arc operations including, but not limited to Albion site and residential properties.
  • Generate and process all oral and written reports, documents, and correspondence in an accurate and efficient manner.
  • Maintain a safe and healthful environment.
  • Attend meetings and training as directed.
  • Maintain professional working relationships with, but not limited to consumers, co-workers, funding bodies, third parties and natural supports
  • Accept responsibility for all materials, equipment, and supplies utilized in carrying out assignments.
  • Accept other assignments as directed.
