Job Summary:

The Proposal Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the development and submission of proposals, offering key administrative support to the Proposal Manager. Leveraging proficiency in MS Office, the coordinator is responsible for crafting compelling presentations, formulating work plans, and meticulously organizing proposal content. Additionally, the role involves generating computer graphics and effectively prioritizing various assignments.

Working collaboratively with both BD Team and Business Unit personnel, the Proposal Coordinator oversees the entire proposal development cycle. This includes ensuring alignment with company standards and best practices.

The coordinator is instrumental in streamlining the proposal review process, guiding the production of the final draft to ensure it meets high-quality standards. By closely collaborating with the Business Development Team and Business Unit personnel, the Proposal Coordinator contributes to the timely delivery of competitive proposals.

Duties/Responsibilities: 

  • Facilitate the seamless transition of successful proposals to the Business Unit, ensuring all relevant documentation and insights are handed over.
  • Spearhead proposal team assignments and formulate the initial proposal management plan under the guidance of the Proposal Manager.
  • Deliver consistent and timely updates to management, operations, and support staff, keeping all stakeholders informed about the proposal process.
  • Actively engage in process improvement initiatives, contributing ideas and supporting their implementation to enhance proposal quality and efficiency.
  • Conduct a thorough review and analysis of RFP documents to guarantee that sufficient information is available for accurate budgeting and comprehensive proposal preparation.
  • Cultivate and disseminate best practices among team members to elevate the quality and efficiency of proposal development.

• Rigorously proofread the proposal to eliminate any grammar, spelling, and typographical errors, ensuring a polished final product.

  • None.

Education, Experience and Certifications Required: 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business preferred bot not required.
  • 2-4 years of experience as a member of a proposal team.
  • Advanced familiarity with RFI/RFP processes and procedures.
  • Editing and templating competencies.
  • Ability to work autonomously.
  • Strong command of English language and good communication skills.
  • Solid time management, and critical thinking skills.

Physical Requirements:  

  • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer 
  • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
  • CONUS travel will be required from time to time
