This role will provide direct, full-time support to the US Government Compliance Officer (CO) to assist in the execution of his responsibility to ensure Northrop Grumman adheres to non-discriminatory and data protection practices arising from its acquisition of Orbital ATK. Develop expertise on the Federal Trade Commission Consent Order (Order) authorizing the acquisition, routinely work with mid-level Government officials and others to interpret, communicate, execute, and implement the Compliance Officer’s Consent Order responsibilities. This is a hybrid role based in El Segundo, CA. This role will estimate 1 day of in-office work per week. What You'll Be Doing Develop Aerospace in-house requirements and function as the Aerospace Government Compliance Team (GCT) lead for evaluating and verifying Northrop Grumman education and training programs against Order requirements. Frequent interaction with Northrop Grumman, Defense Contract Management Agency, and Defense Contract Audit Agency directorates and offices is required. Interaction with Missile Defense Agency (MDA) and other Government agencies may be required on a case-by-case basis. Develop information requests, training programs, budgets and resource allocations to accomplish tasks supporting the Systems Director. Travel to DCMA offices, SRM user community facilities, Northrop Grumman facilities at Bacchus, UT, Promontory, UT, Chandler, AZ, and other Northrop Grumman facilities is required. What You Need to be Successful Minimum Requirements: A Minimum of 12 years of proven experience in military systems acquisitions or contracting and/or compliance are required. Degrees in Education and one hard science, such as Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or related field required. Background in and understanding of military systems strategy and/or policy Applicant must perform well both independently and as a team member, effectively coordinate multiple diverse activities, possess excellent teaching and interpersonal skills, and demonstrate superior oral and written communications abilities. This position requires an Active TS/SCI security clearance or the ability to obtain a TS/SCI, which is issued by the US government. US citizenship is required to obtain a security clearance. Previous experience working with the government would be a plus. Individual salaries within that range are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge and skills.
