The Ground, Exploitation and Operations Directorate (GEOD) provides technical and programmatic support across the legacy and future Overhead Persistent Infrared (OPIR) ground activities as well as the US Nuclear Detonation Detection System (USNDS). Our team works closely with the customers, contractors, and other support agencies to ensure that the heritage systems are always available to support the mission, identify new ways to exploit and leverage the data for the warfighters, and help deliver resilient advanced ground systems that outpace the threats from our advisories.
We are seeking a confident Administrative Assistant (Administrative Specialist III) who provides strategic and proactive support to the Principal Director and his team. As an integral member of the team and the focal point for the GEOD, the individual provides collaborative administrative support to ensure effective and efficient operations. This person resolves problems quickly, executes processes and procedures, and works closely with leaders, colleagues, and customers across the enterprise to ensure the sub-division runs smoothly and meets internal/external deadlines.
Work Model: This is a full-time position for Aerospace Corporation based at Los Angeles Air Force Base that allows for 1 day per week telecommuting depending on the needs of the team and customer.
