As an Oracle Database Administrator, you are responsible for maintaining, securing, and operating databases and also ensures that data is correctly stored and retrieved. You will often work with developers to design and implement new features and troubleshoot any issues.

What you’ll be doing:

• Installing and maintaining the Oracle database software.
• Creating storage database structures with high-level security features.
• Altering storage structure to meet the evolving needs of the company.
• Setting up database user accounts.
• Training users on how to access the information in the database.
• Finding and debugging malfunctioning programs affecting the database integrity.
• Creating autonomous database backups.
• Regularly updating the database security protocols.

The projected compensation range for this position is $96,768.00 to $152,616.00 (annualized USD). The estimate displayed represents the typical salary range for this position and is just one component of Tharseo IT’s total compensation package for employees.
