Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Optical Office Manager to join our team. As an Office Manager, you will be responsible for all operations of our Optical Office including providing the ultimate in patient care and staff development. You will be responsible for building the success of the practice!

Duties:
- Assist customers in selecting and fitting eyeglasses and contact lenses based on their prescription and personal preferences
- Take accurate measurements of customers' eyes, including pupillary distance, to ensure proper fit of eyewear
- Educate customers on lens options, coatings, and frame materials to help them make informed decisions
- Adjust and repair eyewear as needed to ensure optimal fit and comfort for customers
- Maintain inventory of eyeglasses, contact lenses, and other optical products
- Keep up-to-date with the latest trends in eyewear fashion and technology
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries and concerns in a professional and timely manner

- Hiring cross-training and development of staff to provide patient care in all areas of the office.

- Performing all administrative functions for the office

- Creating an atmosphere that patients and staff embrace and love

Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Optical Office Manager
- Strong knowledge of optics, lens options, and frame materials
- Familiarity with medical terminology related to eye care
- Proficiency in using optical equipment such as lensometers and pupilometers
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with customers
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills
- Knowledge of HIPAA regulations regarding patient privacy is required
- Experience working with diverse populations including pediatrics and senior care is a plus
- Familiarity with medical billing systems such as Epic is a plus
