Position Summary

The Regional BA Support Specialist is responsible for providing ongoing support to the banking centers for teller operations and new accounts activities. This role involves the developing and implementing of processes to support the Bank’s unparalleled service, as well as assisting each banking center with staffing needs. The Regional Support Specialist is responsible for providing support to personnel, as needed. The most significant portion of this position’s role will be to lead and coordinate teller and new accounts training in their region. The person in this position is also integral to the startup of new banking centers. As such, the Regional Support Specialist must be willing to travel, sometimes for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Assist in writing and implementing new account and teller policies and procedures.

Assist in updating and maintaining the New Account and Teller Manuals.

Provide leadership training and support to all Banking Center Operations Managers (BCOMs).

Ensure that training events are communicated to the staff in their region.

Provide product and cross-sell training.

Coordinate, assist with and/or perform employee training, both hands on or virtually, with regards to new accounts and teller policies and procedures.

Coordinate, assist with and/or perform employee training, both hands on or virtually, with regards to new accounts and teller platforms, systems and equipment.

Provide new accounts and teller support for banking centers.

Provide support for Teller and Ops Specialist Supervisors in the absence of the branch managers, as needed.

Responsible for assisting in the creation and maintenance of custom teller forms.

Troubleshoot and resolve issues with Integrated Teller, BPM, and other lobby services platforms and equipment, including creating a cases as necessary.

Other Responsibilities

Continuously review of procedures and policies to ensure regulatory compliance and create efficiencies.
Responsible for conducting banking center assessments and utilizing findings to implement corrective measures and create efficiencies.
Assist with or conduct new product training, support, and implementation, such as Verafin, BSG OPD, and others.
Train Banking Center Operations Managers on security and safety of the banking center by analyzing security and safety policies and procedures and alert staff of any changes.
Responsible for review of entity formation documents and power of attorney documents.
Responsible for new banking center operations area setup.
Comply with federal and state regulations and all established bank policies and procedures.
Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements

High School Diploma or GED.
Sound knowledge of general bank operations.
At least five years of bank operations experience preferred.
Strong communication, organization, interpersonal, and customer relation skills.
Must be able to quickly and efficiently use a computer.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Products with strong PowerPoint knowledge and skills.
Ability to handle frequent interruptions while working in a fast-paced environment.
Position requires flexible work schedule Monday through Saturday
Position requires reliable transportation.
