Texas Regional Bank is Hiring an Insurance Sales Producer Hill Country Region Near Austin, TX
Position Summary
The Insurance Sales Producer will be a full-service independent insurance broker. Primarily responsible for a full range of retail and wholesale property/casualty (P/C) brokerage, employee benefit services and renewal retention of existing accounts.
Principal Duties and Responsibilities
Meet new business production goals and objectives as established.
Produces revenue through sales to new and existing clients with emphasis on personal accounts and small and midsize commercial accounts.
Maximize growth and client relation through superior customer service.
Identify the insurance needs of the clients and recommend policies that best meet their needs and budget.
Provide professional risk management advise.
Grow sales revenue by utilizing phone, email, and potential client lists.
Work with client service representatives to complete pre-underwriting, information gathering, submissions, coverage analysis and proposal presentations if needed, company visitations and negotiations.
Applies industry technologies to new sales, additional sales to existing clients and account service.
Provides direction in account transfer situations.
Prepares and implements an individual business plan and production budget.
Develops and maintains interdivision/intercompany relationships consistent with our corporate culture.
Other Responsibilities

Available to travel, as needed.
Support and promote the Bank vision, mission and core values, organizational structure and policies and procedures.
Must have excellent analysis, observation, and decision-making skills.
Highly focused, able to rapidly determine key priorities, clearly communicate the priorities and ensure resources are properly aligned.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are necessary for maintaining effective relationships with Board members, officers, employees, and members of the business and civic community.
Individual should be able to work under high pressure situations and a stressful atmosphere and then should remain composed.
Provide a strong, compassionate, and visible leadership, which fosters positive attitudes and trust among employees, customers, and prospects
Comply with federal and state regulations as well as all established Bank policies and procedures.

Qualifications, Education and Experience Requirements
Bachelor's degree, 1-year related experience, and appropriate insurance licensing required OR;
High School Diploma/GED and 6 years’ experience with appropriate insurance licensing required.
Professional certification preferred (CEBS, CPCU, CIC or ARM).
Strong organization and time-management skills.
Team player with excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Flexibility, professionalism, ability to work in a highly stressful environment and perform a variety of tasks with numerous interruptions is necessary.
Positive attitude, self-motivator, goal-oriented with the ability to foster strong relationships.
Ability to use a PC.
Proficient in Microsoft Office.
Must be able to be physically present in the Bank to perform job duties.
