Our hospital in Austin, Texas, is a full-service facility that offers exceptional healthcare services to the community. With over 300 beds, we provide comprehensive care, including a 24-hour emergency department, the region's largest Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU), and prestigious institutes like the Texas Cardiac Arrhythmia Institute and Neuroscience & Spine Institute. Our services range from cancer care and heart and vascular care to joint replacement, orthopedics, women's services, complex surgical services, and a Bariatric Surgery Center. We also have a 60 bed rehabilitation hospital that offers both inpatient and outpatient comprehensive care.

👩‍⚕️ Job Summary and Qualifications:Duties
As the Pre-Operative Manager, you will be a working manager responsible for the day-to-day operations of the Surgery Center/Pre-Admission Testing Clinic. Your role involves:

• Staffing Management: Overseeing staffing assignments to ensure effective department coverage and maintain productivity targets.
• Staff Development: Planning and directing staff activities and fostering a professional and safe environment.
• Unit Operations: Participating in unit activities/operations to ensure smooth functioning.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 3 years of relevant experience.
• Supervisory Experience: 2 years of experience in a supervisory/charge nurse position in surgery/day surgery.
• Education: ASN required, BSN preferred.
• License: Registered Nurse license in Texas. If Compact License, Texas license must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Certifications: BLS & ACLS

• Salary Range: $90,000 - $130,000, based on years of experience.

• Daily Management: Manage patients preparing for OR, IR, and endoscopy.
