We are looking for well rounded, career minded individuals with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work well as a team member and you are self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities, monitor progress and able to react to changing circumstances.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our growing facility needs two reliable scale house / warehouse attendants. This position is responsible for efficiently managing truck scale operations, ensuring accurate recording of incoming and outgoing shipments and to be able to facilitate seamless communication between truck drivers, and facility staff, maintaining detailed records, and ensuring compliance with safety and regulatory standards. Also, they need to be proficient in utilizing scale equipment and computer systems to streamline weigh-in and weigh-out processes. This team member will be a key team member in maintaining an organized and efficient warehouse environment.

DAILY OBJECTIVES:

● Strong and continuous focus on safety

● Participate in our daily safety meetings

● Openly and frequently communicates on two-way radio

● Coordinates with operators and other recycling workers to complete the weekly equipment and facility maintenance

● Routinely checks in and directs truck loads to be dumped

● Print scale tickets and collect payment from customers

● Provide an unmatched safe and friendly customer experience when assisting customers

● Ensure that facilities meet state regulation standards, by keeping waste and other debris centralized in certain areas

● Must get approval and order requested parts from mechanics and operators

● Organizes and inventories the parts and tools in the warehouse

● Keeps track of orders received and orders inventoried

● Weekly reports of fuel measurements from different tanks

COMPETENCIES:

● Exhibits a strong willingness to learn safety and OSHA regulation

● Can identify and make use of basic tools. (i.e. Hammer, drill, impact, ect.)

● Clearly communicates under chain of command order

● Fundamental understanding in basic mathematics and measurements

● Able to give and accept positive feedback and constructive criticism

● Efficiently communicates well, verbally and written

● Works well in small groups of 2 to 5 people

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

● High School Diploma or GED equivalent

● Military or first responder experience is a plus

● Experience in the waste or recycling industry is an extreme plus

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

● Able to climb staircases and ladders, multiple times per day

● Able to lift 25 pounds or more

● Capable of standing for long periods of time

● Can with stand extreme Texas heat, winter cold and wetness
