We are looking for well rounded, career minded individuals with strong communication, interpersonal and organizational skills, able to work well as a team member and you are self-motivated, with the ability to set priorities, monitor progress and able to react to changing circumstances.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Our growing facility is in need of an Accounts Receivable Specialist / Analyst. We are actively seeking an individual to oversee and enhance our Accounts Receivable position for our waste and recycling facility. This position will work closely with the management team as well as account managers, dispatchers, social media marketing team and scale / warehouse attendants.

DAILY OBJECTIVES:

● Accurately maintains precise and up-to-date records for each company's financial activities daily

● Invoices Texas Gulf Recycling and Texas Waste Control accounts every Monday

● Meets regularly with management and accountants to make sure that all financial records are being kept accurately.

● Manages AR accounts for multiple companies by tracking invoices,

processing, record keeping and documentation filing

● Helps collect on past due rent, from the cottages, storage and u-hauls

● Regularly report collection status and open invoices for Texas Gulf Recycling and Texas Waste Control to text message and smart sheet

● Monthly reconciliation accounts, bank statements and financial transactions to identify discrepancies and to correct discrepancies promptly

● Communicates effectively with internal teams, external auditors, and owners to address inquiries, provide financial information, and ensure transparency across all sets of books

● Continually looks for improvement to update on accounting best practices, software advancements, and regulatory changes to enhance efficiency, accuracy and compliance in managing multiple sets of books

EXPERIENCE & EDUCATION:

● High School Diploma or GED equivalent

● 2 years of Accounts Receivable or Bookkeeping experience preferred

● Military or first responder experience is a plus

● Experience in the waste or recycling industry is an extreme plus
