Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Treatment Coordinator to join our team. As a Treatment Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our dental office. Your primary responsibilities will include managing patient appointments, coordinating treatment plans, and providing exceptional customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments using Dentrix
- Coordinate treatment plans with dentists and specialists
- Educate patients on recommended treatments, insurance coverage, and financial options
- Collect and process patient payments
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
- Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and courteous manner
- Assist with front desk duties as needed
Experience:
- Previous experience working in a dental practice is preferred
- Familiarity with dental software systems such as Dentrix.
- Knowledge of dental terminology and dental procedures
- Knowledge and experience in insurance verifications.
- Knowledge in sending Pre-Authorizations
- Proficient in using phone systems and handling multiple lines
- Understanding of HIPAA regulations and patient privacy
