Our Municipal Finance & Advisory team helps public sector clients including non-profit organizations and government entities with funding for their projects. Responsibilities Responsible for building the public finance and municipal advisory business. Provide leadership regarding balance sheet, utilization, pricing, distribution, and sales and trading for new municipal effort. Interface with the Capital Markets and other risk and credit leaders within the firm Develop and execute strategy with regulatory parameters to include all reporting, filings, models, and structure. Provide leadership to the team and department; in addition, be a role model of firm values looking out for the best for the firm, the team, our clients. Participate and lead (as applicable) the weekly market updates for the broker dealer. The duties listed above are the essential functions, or fundamental duties within the job classification. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, or related field/experience required. Minimum 15 years of Municipal Finance experience required, including prior experience growing teams and building out capabilities. Solid understanding of the broader debt capital markets Must have excellent intrapersonal and communications skills, both verbal and written, with ability to communicate with all levels of employees, management, internal committees, and clients. Must be proficient with organizational skills, ability to identify and solve problems/issues, and be able to management multiple workstreams. Proficient in Salesforce and MS Office products (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) FINRA licenses required or will need to be secured within 120 days of employment.
