Job TitleProgram Manager Agency Texas A&M Agrilife Extension Service Department 4-H Program Development Proposed Minimum Salary$5,416.66 monthly Job LocationCollege Station, Texas Job TypeStaff Job Description Job Description Summary The Program Manager, under direction, plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities, developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the following programs. Responsibilities Texas 4-H Foundation Scholarship Program Plans, organizes, directs and manages day-to-day activities by developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the Texas 4-H Scholarship Program. This includes, but is not limited to, managing the scholarship application process, scheduling, and overseeing scholar’s interviews, working with scholarship donors and planning and executing Texas 4-H Foundation scholarship banquet. Coordinates all scholarship payments with Texas universities. Texas 4-H Foundation Grant Program Assists in developing strategic plans and goals to support the Texas 4-H Foundation Grant Program. This includes, but is not limited to, planning, organizing and managing the day-to-day activities of the external and internal grant programs, working with the Foundation’s FDDs to identify programmatic priorities and develop follow-up systems for awarded grants. Texas 4-H Foundation Alumni Clover Club Gala Plans, organizes, directs and manages day-to-day activities by developing and implementing procedures for the administration of the Texas 4-H Foundation Alumni Clover Club Gala. This includes, but is not limited to, assisting with the development and production of materials designed for gala, working with external partners in the implementation of event and working with volunteers to manage the event. This also includes seeking and soliciting sponsorship and donations for gala. Texas 4-H Foundation County Extension Agent Professional Development Program Plans, organizes, directs, and manages day-to-day activities, by developing and implementing procedures for the financial administration of the Texas 4-H Foundation County Extension Agent Professional Development Program. This includes, but is not limited to, approving all related payment requests associated with the CEA professional development program and developing and conducting training workshops for agents and 4-H faculty. Administration Assists the Executive Director by communicating with county extension agents, 4-H faculty and Foundation leaders by preparing presentations, developing marketing material for social media and website, newsletters and donor agreements, and enhancing communication between partners by attending meetings and conference calls related to job responsibilities associated with Scholarship Program, Gala and other Foundation fundraising event. Qualifications Required Education and Experience: Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience. Five years of related experience. Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: Knowledge of word processing and spreadsheet applications. Ability to multitask and work cooperatively with others. Verbal and written communication skills. Other Requirements: Travel, to include overnight travel is required. In addition, this position does require occasional work beyond the normal 8:00 am to 5:00 pm Additional Information This position is based in College Station, Texas. Alternate Work Location will be considered. All positions are security-sensitive.
