Responsibilities:
- Perform general clerical duties, including order processing using QuickBooks and common payment processing systems.
- Maintain and update office records and pricing databases
- Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including emails, chats, and light phone calls.
- Provide administrative support to various departments as needed.
- Assist in updating online digital content on various web platforms
Experience:
- Proven experience as an Office Administrator or similar customer service oriented role.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Proficient in using office software such as Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Experience with QuickBooks
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping principles is a plus.
We are a small, family owned business-to-business distributor specializing in industrial electronics. This position is a low stress role but with a high volume workload requiring focus and commitment The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, and have a personal commitment to obtaining excellent results in all assigned tasks. With that in mind, we are seeking a mature, reliable individual to replace a longterm employee who is now retiring.
This position is located inside the village at Big Bear Lake. Starting hours are 8 AM to 1 PM Monday through Friday, no weekends required, paid holidays
As our Office Administrator, you will work directly with the owner to play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of our office. Your attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to effectively communicate will contribute to the overall efficiency of our company. If you are a motivated individual with a strong work ethic and the required experience, we would love to hear from you. Although this job begins as a part-time position, it has a strong likelihood of becoming a full-time position for the right candidate.
