The focus of this role is thedevelopment of mixing and powder preparation equipment, critical to the launchof dry battery electrode and the 4680 cell. Equipment Engineering Technicians,will work as members of a diverse equipment development and execution team. This individual will apply his/her technical skills to assemble,install, operate, and optimize equipment to take it from a proof-of-concept toa full mass production solution. The manufacturing technician is a key memberof the equipment engineering team focused on developing innovative processes,equipment, and tooling to accelerate the world's transition to GWh Hours ofsustainable energy.

• Perform equipment assembly, setup, operation,adjustments, and minor preventative maintenance tasks to meet safety, qualityand efficiency standards for equipment in varying development stages
• Identify problems and potential solutions totroubleshoot issues as they arise during engineering builds
• Document results during and post engineering developmentbuilds in a clear and concise manner
• Assemble and test manufactured goods for dedicatedtooling and or processes
• Rework or fabricate prototype parts when needed
• Load and unload material, weight varying, intocontainers and tools
• Collaboratively develop operating procedures forequipment or new processes in standard format
• Conduct analytical tests, measure and record data usingdefined tools and software
• Support work area safety, cleanliness, material usageand organization
• Participate in the continuous improvement of safety,quality, output, and tool uptime

• Strong mechanical aptitude with at least 3 years ofexperience in a manufacturing, with lots of experience in operating andtroubleshooting a wide range of manufacturing equipment
• Proficiency with power tools and good motor skills,
• Ability to operate shop tools (manual mill, lathe, etc.)
• Ability to weld MIG/TIG a plus
• Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.Knowledge of SharePoint a plus
• Ability to interpret mechanical and electrical drawings aplus - willingness to learn a requirement
• Excellent attention to detail, good organization,analytical and reasoning skills
• Ability to work with others in cross-functional teamenvironment and follow both written and verbal instructions
• Comfortable with frequent change of direction, dynamicwork environment and passion to perform time-sensitive analysis under pressure
