Position Summary
This role involves a deep functional knowledge of engineering and manufacturing processes utilized in large scale fabrication and equipment production. This role under direction of others, supports processes required to sell and fulfill orders for new capital equipment, aftermarket parts, and services. Required duties include evaluation of engineering drawings for best practices and document translation into the company ERP system including creation and modification of part numbers, manufacturing bills of material, and routings. Additionally, the role provides labor and lead-time estimates to upstream and downstream customers, creates, and maintains standard work documents for use internal and external to the department, and provides support for continuous improvement projects within the company. Finally, the position serves a key role providing technical assistance to internal and external producers and work centers.

Education
B.S. in Manufacturing Engineering or a related engineering field from a four-year college or technical school in Engineering. 0-2 year(s) related Engineering experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience with an emphasis in Engineering preferred.
Skills/Experience
Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
Mathematical Skills: Ability to work with mathematical concepts such as fundamentals of plane and solid geometry and trigonometry. Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Use of judgment to plan, perform and make decisions as to the sequence of set-ups, operations, and processes within the limitations of recognized or standard methods and procedures.
