TERRA Staffing Group Internal is Hiring a Test Technician Near Portland, OR

Portland, OR

Full-time, Temporary to Hire, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-3:30pm

Have 3-6 months using dimensional tools, 6 months in testing or quality control and enjoy process-oriented work?

You could be a great fit for this Test Technician opportunity! It's with a company that works with all types of businesses to make sure their raw materials meet the highest standards for manufacturing.

In this role, you'll prepare metal samples for testing, use machines and equipment to conduct various tests and document your work on a computer. Perfect for anyone who has worked in the following roles: lab technician, dimensional inspector, quality assurance, quality control, machine operation or maintenance, and any educational background in the sciences.

This is a full-time, temporary-to-hire position that offers a full benefits package and a great Monday-Friday schedule.

Test Technician Job Duties:

  • Using micrometers, gauges, and calipers or tools to measure and prep samples
  • Work with small hand tools, to cut, grind, or sand samples to prepare for testing
  • Input data from sample testing onto a computer

Shift: Day Shift 7am - 3:30pm Monday-Friday


Test Technician Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for 8 hours
  • Ability to work with small hand tools
  • 3-6 months using dimensional tools
  • 6 months in testing / quality control

Pay: $21/hr
