Responsibilities:

As the Asst. General Manager, you will be responsible for supporting the General Manager in their operations associated with our Elko location. Your main responsibility would be evening and weekend shifts and ensuring the smooth running of every aspect of the restaurant. Your key responsibilities will include:

Creating a stand out environment with excellent service for our guests and ensuring the entire team commits to excellence in service.

Utilize your proven expertise in restaurant management to drive the success of our Elko location.

Efficiently train and schedule our dedicated staff members to maximize productivity and customer satisfaction.

Demonstrate your expertise in kitchen operations, overseeing food preparation and maintaining high-quality standards.

Provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts, leading and inspiring our team members.

Effectively handle employee time-off requests and address unexpected absences to maintain operational continuity.

Foster a culture of continuous improvement by training and coaching new team members.

Ensure accuracy in cash handling procedures and help prepare bank deposits accordingly.

Uphold stringent health and safety regulations to provide a safe environment for both customers and employees.

Actively resolve customer and employee concerns to ensure a positive experience for all.

Foster a harmonious work environment by promptly addressing and resolving conflicts between team members.

Cultivate a positive work atmosphere, promoting teamwork, motivation, and employee engagement.

Requirements/Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, we require the following qualifications:

Strong communication skills with an outgoing personality and a passion for customer service.

Proven experience in restaurant management.

Strong skills in training and scheduling staff members.

Knowledge and experience in inventory management and product ordering.

Proficiency in kitchen operations and food preparation.

Ability to provide direction and feedback to workers during shifts.

Exceptional organizational and time-management skills.

Effective problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.

Understanding of health and safety standards in the restaurant industry.
