Description:
Hybrid approximately 50% ....working nights 6pm-6am est on a rotating 12-hour shift in Vienna, VA. Weeks start on Sunday - Saturday. One week would be Sun, Wed, Thu. 2nd week would be Mon, Tue, Fri, Sat.
Overview:
Responsible for coordinating, monitoring, administering, and servicing technical environments. Executes implementations, conducts integration activities, and offers operational support to ensure seamless functionality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor and maintain enterprise systems and networks for continuous availability.
- Troubleshoot, resolve, and escalate incidents promptly.
- Coordinate with vendors during system outages or reduced performance.
- Conduct routine tests and maintenance on systems, networks, and equipment
- Utilize monitoring tools like Moogsoft AIOps for optimal performance.
- Identify, isolate, and resolve operational issues within defined timeframes.
- Create and update incident and change tickets using ServiceNow.
- Collaborate with ETS support teams and vendors to resolve system outages.
- Monitor alerts during change windows to ensure service restoration.
- Perform routine system tests and report findings.
- Assist ETS staff in testing systems and applications.
- Track and report branch-related outages and service interruptions.
- Minimum of 2 years of enterprise network monitoring experience.
- Proficient in IT terminology, network topology, commands, and device relationships.
- Understanding of technical inter-relationships between software/hardware and desktop/LAN/Host systems.
- Demonstrated experience in problem resolution, including root cause analysis and issue scope determination.
- Familiarity with validating system availability and performance.
- Proficiency with enterprise system monitoring tools such as LogicMonitor, Splunk, Moogsoft, SolarWinds.
- Strong research, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to exercise initiative, sound judgment, and produce desired results.
- Effective communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Capable of responding quickly and accurately in high-pressure situations.
- Ability to manage tasks and shifting priorities effectively.
- Proficient in documenting and applying policies, standards, and procedures.
- Able to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
- Designated as "Essential Personnel," requiring flexibility in schedule (days, nights, weekends, holidays) based on business needs or emergencies.
- Rotating schedule position, involving work every other weekend (Friday, Saturday, Sunday).
- No C2C Arrangements. Must work W2 Contract.
- Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
- Accepted candidates include s, s, TN Visa holders, and holders.
