Tend seeks an experienced Director of IT Services who will lead the tech services team, roll out various technology initiatives across the organization, and manage the technology implementation within all Tend studios. The initiatives this Director leads will significantly impact how Tend delivers a modern and tech-savvy experience to our members. The Director will report to the Chief Technology Officer and manage team 6. This position can based in either our NYC or Nashville hub.

What you'll do:

• Develop Tend’s annual technology strategy and roadmap to align with company goals
• Manage the organization-wide service desk to support all employee's IT needs and questions 
• Collaborate with the clinical leadership on dental technology and software
• Lead the technology implementation for new studio openings to meet the timelines for launch
• Evaluate internal IT systems for performance and efficiency
• Lead a high-performing and innovative technology team to drive results
• Manage multi-million dollar SaaS budget, continually looking for opportunity to optimize and drive down cost
• Administer information security practices, including but limited to vulnerability management & patching, malware protection, and security awareness training

What you'll need:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 8 years of experience
• Experience leading a team in a fast-paced startup environment
• Detail and process-oriented with excellent written and verbal communication skills
