We have a full-time, Undercarriage Field Service Technician position available at our San Antonio, Texas location. This position is responsible for providing equipment repair service in order to respond to customer needs in a positive, caring, and timely manner. Job Description:
This position is responsible for performing inspection, diagnosis, and repair of heavy equipment undercarriage in the field . Will work alone or in teams. It will involve removing and installing complete undercarriages which include: tracks, roller frames, rollers, idlers, and sprocket segments. It will also require performing repairs on broken link assemblies which will include the use of a cutting torch, presses, and specialized tooling.
Qualifications:
A qualified candidate must have the following skills or abilities:

• Minimum 3-5 years of undercarriage repair and troubleshooting experience or Heavy Equipment Mechanical experience
• Must be proficient with computers. (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Must have a clean and valid driver's license. Must have CDL B.
• Must be a well-organized, thoughtful, and self-motivated person.
• Must have a steady employment history.
• Ability to frequently reach, bend, walk, etc.
• Able to stand for extended periods.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy is required.
• Must be capable of working in a fast-paced environment while adhering to HOLT CAT safety policies and guidelines.
• Must be highly organized and have excellent attention to detail.
• Must have excellent attendance and work performance.
• Must be self-motivated with a high commitment to completing tasks promptly.
• Must have common hand tools required in performing daily tasks.
